Home of the Week: 5-Bedroom Colonial Sells for Half-Million

This large, 5-bedroom house on Stearns Road in Marlborough sold recently for more than half-a-million dollars. The property on nearly an acre overlooks Southborough and includes 3.5 bathrooms.

The house was listed in July for $525,000. It originally was listed in April 2012 for $539,900, but the listing was removed six months later after no sale emerged, according to Zillow.com.

The house features a private, wooded lot, hardwood flooring in the living room, foyer and dining room, and an open floor plan.
