There is a new art show at the Post Road Art Center! There were over 120 pieces entered into the show and judge Bob Collins from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts and the Danforth Museum had the challenging task of selecting among these fabulous works.

Not only did he have to narrow down the field, he also had to choose first, second and third place. When he was done there were 66 pieces left. It is a very full show and an amazing eclectic collection!

The opening reception is this Thursday, April 5, from 5:30-8 p.m. Enjoy some wine and cheese, mingle with the artists, cast your vote for the People's Choice Award and maybe go home with a new piece of art!

A vote for the People's Choice Award enters you into a raffle for a $25 gift certificate! You can preview the show here, and you can also see and make comments about the show on the Post Road Art Center Facebook fan page. Just click on the photo album Open Show 2012! The artist who gets the most "Likes" will win a prize, so click away!

Are you an artist, and wish you could be part of one of these shows? Are you missing some confidence? Maybe one of our classes will give you the support you need to take the next step. See the ever changing class list at the Post Road Art Center. Let me know what you think.
