Where Were You on 9/11?
As the nation remember 9/11, 10 years later, we ask Marlborough residents to tell us where you were and give us your thoughts of the day then and now.
This is a venue through which you and your circle of friends are invited to share your memories of the events of 9/11. Where were you? How did you find out? How did the news affect you? Did you have friends or loved ones near Ground Zero?
9/11 is one of those pivotal events in history where almost everyone remembers where they were and what they were doing when it happened. Just as the Kennedy assassination marked the 1960s, the events of September 11, 2001 shaped the first decade of the new millennium.
Encourage your friends and family to share their stories as well (by recommending this story on Facebook), and together we can create our own memorial right here on Marlborough Patch.
