Water Ban Lifted

The city has lifted a watering ban.

The Department of Public Works has announced an end to the watering ban that was previously in effect in Marlborough.

"The department wishes to thank the community for its cooperation in limiting water use during the period restrictions were in place," said Marlborough Commissioner of Public Works Ron LaFreniere of the ban that was in effect since May 6.

Regular use of the waer supply may now resume, he said in a statement.
