The discussion of a new senior center at Ward Park set for tonight has been delayed.
"The City’s Charter requires that bonds be advertised at least ten days prior to City Council action. This notice is being posted to alert the public that final action on the proposed bonds, noted above, will not occur at the City Council’s October 21, 2013 meeting," reads an announcement on the city's website.
The talks about the controversial location for the senior center will likely be pushed back two weeks. The vote to advertise the bonds should take place tonight, according to officials.
"That vote will/should take place tonight (with the) vote on the bonds to take place in 2 weeks," said City Councilor Katie Robey.
