Voter Turnout in Marlborough

With local elections coming up in short order, we thought it would be interesting to take a look back at Marlborough's voting habits over the past few years. The state of Massachusetts has resources online and at the that provide residents with this important data. While more recent numbers are surely available, 2004 is the latest election data to be found online. 

With today, Marlborough had 19,769 in 2004. An impressive 15,633 showed up to vote in the Nov. 2 state elections.

Ward 1 —

Precinct 1: 1,549 registered; 1,204 voted

Precinct 2: 1,750 registered; 1,473 voted

Ward 2 —

Precinct 1: 1,625 registered; 1,311 voted

Precinct 2: 1,336 registered; 1,038 voted

Ward 3 —

Precinct 1: 1,003 registered; 755 voted

Precinct 2: 1,689 registered, 1,361 voted

Ward 4 —

Precinct 1: 932 registered; 624 voted

Precinct 2: 1,625 registered; 1,330 voted

Ward 5 —

Precinct 1: 1,153 registered; 850 voted

Precinct 2: 1,720 registered; 1,342 voted

Ward 6 —

Precinct 1: 1,069 registered; 846 voted

Precinct 2: 1,685 registered; 1,366 voted

Ward 7 —

Precinct 1: 1,248 registered; 1,002 voted

Precinct 2: 1,385 registered; 1,131 voted
