The Marlborough Triathlon Causes a Stir on Facebook

Here at Marlborough Patch, we take social media pretty seriously.

Currently, we've got 363 fans liking us on Facebook, which is a great thing. We've also got 380 followers on Twitter, with numbers growing every day. Here are some highlights of what took place this week:

• With the Marlborough Triathlon just days away (this Sunday), many of our readers responded to our recent story by liking it on Facebook, and one person even let us know that he'd volunteered for the event.
  
  
• The Marlborough Economic Development Corporation posted a story Friday morning revealing that the city had just received a large grant for development. Readers on Facebook "liked" this story. 
• Our story concerning a rash of car robberies in recent weeks was re-Tweeted and spread widely on Twitter.
