Senior Center Meeting Wednesday Night

A meeting to discuss the proposed Senior Center at Ward Park will be held Wednesday.

A meeting will be held tonight at Crane Meadows condominium complex to give the residents of the 55+ community information about the proposed senior center at Ward Park.
The meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. It is being hosted by Ward 3 City Councilor Matt Elder and Council President Trish Pope.
“The neighbors have voiced their concerns and given their input regarding the proposed plans, and if the project moves forward I will work with them to try to alleviate their concerns. However, not only do I represent them, but I represent the 100 people living at Crane Meadows as well as hundreds of seniors in my ward,” said Elder in a press release where he stated he has hosted neighborhood meetings and distributed over 1,400 letters and proposed plans to his constituents.
Information about the center will be given, followed by a short question and answer session.
