Marlborough Woman Wins DA's John Kerry Leadership Award

Resident and Middlesex DA's office employee wins prestigious annual award.

In honor of her exemplary service to the office of the Middlesex District Attorney, Susan Ledoux, of Marlborough, was presented with the John F. Kerry Leadership Award at a ceremony held in Woburn, Middlesex District Attorney Gerry Leone announced Thursday.

The John F. Kerry Leadership Award is named in honor of Senior Massachusetts Senator John F. Kerry, a former Middlesex First Assistant District Attorney. The award is presented each year to a member of the district attorney’s office for demonstrating extraordinary leadership in his/her position. Brendan Sullivan, Public Safety Policy Director for Senator Kerry, was in attendance to present the award.

Ledoux is the Administrative Assistant to the Chief of Homicide.

“Sue is a vital member of our office who diligently provides exemplary work on a regular basis,” District Attorney Leone said. “Sue has established invaluable relationships with numerous state organizations which the MDAO relies upon and partners with. Sue’s stellar work ethic and positive attitude are why she was awarded the John F. Kerry Leadership Award.”

The annual Middlesex District Attorney’s Awards Ceremony was held on Dec. 8 at Woburn Memorial High School in Woburn. The office has a proud legacy of exemplary service to the people of Middlesex County, and the series of awards are named in honor of many of the former members of the office.

Middlesex alumni who were in attendance to present the awards named in their honor were Attorney General and former Middlesex D.A. Martha Coakley and former Middlesex D.A. and Attorney General Thomas F. Reilly.
