The 61st Marlborough Labor Day Parade is a signature event of the city. This year's theme is "Volunteers in Service." The parade will run down Main Street beginning at noon on Labor Day. will be in place to allow the smooth flow of the parade.

The parade was founded in 1952 by Mayor Romeo J. Gadbois. That first parade was made up of 12 marching units. Since then, the parade has grown to include over 150 bands, floats, and other entries.

The parade is a volunteer effort and funded through donations.
