Gov. Patrick Meets with Marlborough Mayor-Elect Arthur Vigeant
Mayor-elect Vigeant was one of the many incoming Massachusetts mayors who met with the administration in Boston on Monday.
Governor Deval Patrick and Lieutenant Governor Tim Murray welcomed the incoming Massachusetts mayors on Monday, including mayor-elect Arthur Vigeant.
“I welcome all the new mayors to a strong partnership with our Administration," said Patrick. "I look forward to working with Mayor-elect Vigeant to invest in education, innovation and infrastructure in Marlborough.”
Murray agreed saying, "Our Administration’s robust partnership with cities and towns is key to building a stronger Commonwealth. I welcome Mayor-elect Vigeant to this new position and look forward to working together to create jobs and opportunities that will strengthen the economic vitality of Marlborough and all of Massachusetts.”
