Food Bank Accepts $1K Donation from ForeKicks

Mayor Nancy Stevens was on hand Wednesday for the presentation.

was on-hand Wednesday when co-owner Pat Teager presented  Executive Director Fatinha Kerr with a check for $1,000. 

In addition, the donation was awarded specifically to the Food Pantry and director Carol Phipps. 

“Donations are especially needed during the summer months, and the Food Pantry is extremely grateful for the ongoing and generous support of the Teagers,”  said Kerr.

According to a release, over the past two years ForeKicks has served as a drop off center for the Food Pantry. During that time they have collected  2392 pieces of food for the Marlborough location alone, and for every piece of food stuff donated by their customers, ForeKicks has matches the donation with a cash donation.   

Owners Patricia and Thomas Teager personally contributed an additional donation of $500 to the cause, said the release.

 “The City of Marlborough sincerely appreciates the Teager’s commitment and partnership in addressing important community needs,” added Stevens.
