A column highlighting the trends, thoughts, and news from Facebook and Twitter.

Here at Marlborough Patch, we take social media pretty seriously.

The platform is one way we look to interact with you, answer your questions and get to see what's on your mind. Social Media Saturday is a weekly feature where we highlight your questions and thoughts you've shared on FacebookTwitter and other media throughout the past week.

We'll also point you to some new and interesting pages you may not have known about before.

  • There was a very serious accident just over the Marlborough line on 495 South last Friday, and the story has continued to draw in a large of amount of readers and comments.

  • Verizon workers are still on strike after nearly two weeks on the picket line. While both sides are still at the table discussing the circumstances under which work will resume, non-union employees are still on the job and everyone else is hoping for that time to come
  • If you care to see what happened to Marlborough resident Dani Henderson on ABC's Expedition Impossible this past, follow this link. While we often get an eager response to this column on a weekly basis, this week I learned not to give away too much in the headline. See our Facebook page for details.

Social Media Page of the Week

While I haven't had a lot of personal contact when it comes to Marlborough Nissan on Boston Post Road in East Marlborough, I have noticed very active social media accounts at this company. They are constantly up to date on the latest trends, and always have an interesting question for their readers.
