Applications for Summer City Internships Available

The applications must be completed by May 10.

The applications for the summer Public Service Internship Program are available and due May 10.

The program links college students with positions in city government, benefitting both according to officials.

The city planned to set aside $25,000 for a second year of the Public Service Internship Program. Last year, the program served 15 college students and will be funded enough this year to employ 20 students.

The guidelines for the application and the application itself are available on the city's website. The important time to remember is May 10 at 4 p.m. when the applications are due and may be mailed or dropped off at the mayor's office in City Hall.
