5 Things You Need To Know Today: July 7

Here is a list of things going on in and around Marlborough today.

1. There should be some fog early this morning, but otherwise mostly-sunny skies and a high of 86 degrees. 

2. On Saturday, July 23 from 5 to 10 p.m. at the Masonic Hall, 208 Main St., mayoral candidate James Mosso will be having a kick-off campaign dinner with an Italian buffet. Tickets are $25/seniors are $10. Tickets are available by e-mailing jmosso@jimmossoformayor2011.org, or at the door of the event.

4. YASH Technologies will host a class focusing on Discovering How to Accelerate Contract Renewals and Revenue Recognition Processes during a Tuesday, July 12 Event at Access Northeast, 34 Saint Martin Dr. Suite 22 from 3 to 5 p.m. 

5. "A Marlborough real estate project could be the victim of the struggling condominium market, but its Newton owner is trying his hardest to save the development," says a Worcester Business Journal story. The owner is looking for approval to rent some of the units in this restored factory.
