5 Things You Need To Know Today: July 6

Here is a list of things going on in and around Marlborough today.

1. Another nice (and very hot) day is in store for Marlborough, with a high of 90 degrees, says the National Weather Service

2. There is an Indian cooking class for children at the this evening beginning at 6:30 p.m. If that isn't awesome enough, there are also several other programs available today. 

3. For those feeling adventurous enough to wander out of Marlborough for the afternoon, the Hudson Public Library is hosting an afternoon movie for the kids. Contact dbackman@cwmars.org for more information.

4. Don't forget about the Thursday night summer concert series on Union Common (Main St. and Bolton). Mayor Nancy E. Stevens and The Marlborough Recreation Department present the John Penny Band from 7 to 9 p.m. Admission is Free. The event is canceled in the event of rain. 

5. This Saturday morning, the Arts Alliance will host their weekly Discovery Series on the Union Common at 11 a.m. Cornell “Sugarfoot” Coley will bring Afro-Latin drumming and dance rhythms to Marlborough.
