Weekend Arrests: Alleged Rock Throwing and Stealing from a Liquor Store

Friday, Aug. 23

10:50 p.m.: Police arrested Mackenzie G. Kelly, 20, of 25 Eliza Steele Drive Apt. A41 in Rockland Maine in the area of Cullinane Drive and Western View Drive on charges of disorderly conduct.

10:53 p.m.: Police arrested Christian Alicea, 18, of 56 Harrison Place Apt. 1 at Sperry’s Liquors on Lincoln Street on charges of assault and battery, shoplifting by asportation, and being a person under 21 possessing liquor. According to police, Alicea allegedly put a bottle of vodka under his shirt and attempted to walk out of the store with it. When he was confronted by someone at the exit he reportedly slapped the person in the face with an open hand, according to police.

Saturday, Aug.24

8:32 a.m.: Police arrested Peter T. MacDonald, 53, of 42 Holly Hull Lane on Holly Hill Lane for assault with a dangerous weapon following a call for a domestic disturbance.

5:21 p.m.: Police arrested a 16-year-old on Broad Street on charges of assault with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, two counts of assault and battery and vandalizing property. According to Detective Scott DeCiero of the Community Services Bureau of the Marlborough Police Department, the juvenile threw rocks at two other people, hitting one in the head and proceeded to punch one in the eye and the other in the stomach.

“After one of those victims was assaulted,” said DeCiero, “the victim fell into a glass door at 153 Broad Street which broke the glass.”

One of the people assaulted had to be taken to the hospital, said DeCiero.

Sunday, Aug. 25

4:40 a.m.: Police arrested Zander Goncalves Filho, 19, of 19D Cook Lane on Hosmer Street on a charge of operating under the influence of liquor.

4:58 a.m.: Police arrested Jose F. Salguero, 26, of 103 Howe Street Apt. 1 in the area of Boston Post Road East and 22 Wilson Street on charges of leaving the scene of property damage and operating under the influence of liquor.

10:22 p.m.: Police arrested Oscar Sanchez Marrero, 17, of 223 Pleasant Street Apt. BSMT on Chestnut Street on charges of larceny over $250.

Monday, Aug. 26

4:12 a.m.: Police arrested Marcos Vinicius Desou Goncalves, 23, of 60 Edmands Road in Framingham in the area of South and West Street on charges of operating a vehicle with a suspended or revoked license, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, a red light violation and speeding.
