Fallen Tree Limb Cuts Power to 290 Homes in Marlborough

The outage lasted about two hours, a National Grid spokesman said.

Close to 300 homes in south Marlborough were without electricity for nearly two hours Tuesday night after a tree limb cut power.

National Grid spokesman David Graves said a tree limb fell onto wires on Forest St. at around 7:52 p.m., cutting power to 290 customers in the area.

A crew was dispatched to remove the limb and re-energize the circuit and power was restored to all customers at 9:37 p.m., Graves said.
