UPDATE: 495 South Lanes Reopen After Tractor Trailer Crash [IMAGE GALLERY]

Police and hazmat crews are on the scene of a tractor trailer rollover just past the Route 20 exit on 495 South.

UPDATE, 1:30 p.m.: The Massachusetts State Police have opened travel lanes on 495 South, while continuing to piece together the tractor trailer crash Monday morning.

Emergency crews are on the scene of a crash involving two tractor-trailer units, one of which is blocking the entirety of Route 495 southbound just past the Route 20 exits (Exit 25) in Marlborough.

Dozens of State Police officers, and hazmat crews are on the scene dealing with the tipped vehicle, that scanner reports are calling a Dow Chemical truck. 

There are no known spills or injuries in the crash thus far, said police, but all southbound traffic is being diverted into west Marlborough as all lanes remain closed as of this post. There appears to be a backup of several miles on the highway prior to the crash site.

The ramps heading onto 495 south are closed in both directions, and a major police presence is directing traffic on Route 20 in Marlborough. Expect significant delays if traveling through the area.
