$5 Sparks Street Fight

A fight allegedly over five dollars lead to an arrest of one man on multiple charges.

Five dollars allegedly sparked a street fight that landed one man in jail.

“One guy had five dollars from the guy that got arrested,” said Lt. Michael Amoros of the Marlborough Police Department.

A police cruiser was driving on Lincoln Street when officers noticed a fight at the intersection of Lincoln and Cross Streets, he said. The fight between the two men was broken up.

The victim told police that Henry Joel Hernandez-Reanos, 17, of 193 W. Main Street was trying to take back the $5 that he had loaned the victim, said Lt. Amoros.

Hernandez-Reanos allegedly gave a false name and attempted to impede the investigation. He was charged with disorderly conduct, impeding an investigation through witness intimidation, assault and battery to collect a loan and furnishing a false name.
