Sept. 9-11: 16-Year-Old Arrested on 3 Counts of Assault at Bigelow School

Friday, Sept. 9:

5:12 a.m.: Police investigate an unnatended death at 116 Chestnut St.

5:53 a.m.: Joel B. Cole, 21, homeless, is arrested at police headquarters, 355 Bolton St., on two outstanding warrants.

8:30 a.m.: Officers respond to a domestic disturbance at the Heights at Marlborough Apartments, 36 Briarwood Ln., Apt. 3, and arrest Jose Luis Perez-Cruz, 21, of 36 Briarwood Ln., Apt. 3, on charges of assault and battery.

10 a.m.: There is a motor vehicle accident with injuries in the area at the Lakeside Gulf, 175 Lakeside Ave.

11:12 a.m.: Police recover a stolen motor vehicle at Hertz Rental, 410 Maple St.

12:04 p.m.: After responding to a larceny call at the Rockport Shoe Outlet, 54 South Bolton St., police arrest Michael F. Heffernan, 49, of 57 Mechanic St., for shoplifting over $100 by conceiling merchandise. Michael V. Sorrentino, 27, of 57 Mechanic St., Apt. 7, is arrested during the same incident and charged with an outstanding warrant.

12:11 a.m.: During a disturbance at the Bigelow School, 57 Orchard St., MPD arrests a 16-year-old juvenile on three counts of assault and battery.

3:03 p.m.: Carl Joseph Moreau, 26, of 20B Crescent St., Apt. 6, is arrested at the same address, Apt. B, and charged with disorderly conduct.

5:37 p.m.: Jason H. Loomer, 36, of 131 Water St., North Andover, is arrested during a disturbance at 900 Broadmeadow Rd. and charged with assault and battery, driving with a suspended/revoked license and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.


Saturday, Sept. 10:

2:12 a.m.: An assault is reported at 290 Lincoln St., and Donald C. Bell, 19, of 90 Howland St., is arrested on two counts of assault and battery and threatenting to commit a crime.

3:02 a.m.: Amilcar A. Escobar, 18, of 70 Broad St., Apt. 1Rear, is arrested at 131 South St. and three counts of vandalizing property.

5:52 p.m.: Geraldo A. Sa, 61, of 72 Devens St., Apt. B, is arrested at the Russell House, 32 Main St., for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and driving with a revoked registration and an uninsured motor vehicle.

7:37 p.m.: Michael L. Harris, 25, of 73 Saint Ives Way, Apt. 33, is arrested at the Stone Gate Apartments, same address, and charged with disturbing the peace, three counts of assault and battery on a police officer and resisting arrest.

8:27 p.m.: During a disturbance at McDonalds restaurant, 250 Maple St., Jay T. Hannan, 48, of 76 Huntington Ave., Apt. 1, is arrested for leaving the scene of a personal injury, leaving the scene of property damage, marked lanes violations, failure to stop for police, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, two red light violations, a passing violation, speeding, failure to drive in the right lane, failure to notify RMV of a change of address, subsequent offense driving with a suspended license, resisting arrest, three counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, three counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, disorderly conduct, accosting/annoying a person of the opposite sex, two counts of defacing property, assault and battery on a police officer, disturbing the peace, trespassing and a third offense OUI.


Sunday, Sept. 11:

1:53 a.m.: Joao Inocenci DeMoura, 37, of 116 Hawkins St., Plainville, is arrested on Rawlins Ave., after police receive a report of a suspicious motor vehicle. He is charged with second offense OUI, furnishing a false name/Social Security number and operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license.

6:34 p.m.: Leonel Araldo Cambarra, 52, of 17 High St., Apt. 1, is arrested on an outstanding warrant in the vicinity of 400 Lincoln St.
