Push for Community Policing, Sudden Death and Hospital Assault

From a push to restore community policing to an assault on hospital staff; Marlborough's police were busy this week.

The week was full of police activity, but one of the most important items came in the form of an announcement that a push is occuring to restore community policing.

Part of that restoration will have to do with additional police forces. The City Council welcomed the police officers brought on in 2012 at their first meeting of the year.

The beginning of the year was not as pleasant for everyone, with Marlborough Hospital staffers being assaulted by a patient.
