Providence Woman Nabbed for Prostitution in Marlborough Hotel

The Marlborough Police Department conducted a sting operation Tuesday evening, and arrested a Providence, RI woman for prostitution.

In the first prostitution arrest in Marlborough in some time, the conducted a sting operation Tuesday evening after responding to a Providence woman's escort advertisement.

Sandy Mishel Coronado, 22, of 67 Harris Ave. Apt. 2, Providence, RI, was charged with sexual conduct for a fee, and conspiracy after police agreed to meet her in an undercover operation. 

The police rendezvoused with the suspect at a well-known local hotel that they were working with, said Det. Martha Shea, and she was arrested after it was confirmed that she was selling sex for money.

This appears to be a one-time incident," continued Shea, and the suspect appeared to be working on her own.
