Police Shooting Justified, New Firefighters and a Man Punches a Woman

Police and fire officials have been busy this week.

From the November Police shooting being ruled justifiable to the latest firefighters in the city; both departments were in the news this week.

The November shooting of Bryce Coutinho by Marlborough Police Officer Soren Levenson has been deemed justifiable by the Middlesex District Attorney's office. The department's investigation concluded that Coutinho, who had assault and battery charges pending with the Marlborough Police Department, got within 5 or 6 feet of the officer while holding a knife in an aggresive manner.

A Marlborough man was after breaking into her apartment and punching a woman in the face and allegedly telling her he was going to kill her.
