Police Log: Witness Intimidation, Shoplifting at Sears

Monday, April 9:

7:18 a.m.: A citation/warning was issued during a motor vehicle stop near the intersection of Cook Lane and Essex Street. 

8:19 a.m.: Michael Terrence Bowler, 48, of 478 Hemenway St., was arrested at 82 Melody Ln., after police responded to a 209A (proximity order) violation. He was charged with violating an abuse prevention order and impeding an investigation through witness intimidation.

12:09 p.m.: An act of vandalism was reported at 144 Broad St. 

1:19 p.m.: Police take a sex offender registration at , 355 Bolton St.

1:20 p.m.: A report of an assault was given to police at 688 Boston Post Rd. E. 

8:08 p.m.: Harassment was reported to officers at headquarters,355 Bolton St. 

8:16 p.m.: After responding to a report of shoplifting at , 521 Donald J. Lynch Blvd., police arrested Rhea Walia, 46, of 34 Hemingway St., Shrewsbury, and charged her with two counts of shoplifting by concealing merchandise and larceny over $250.
