Police Log: MV Arrests, Drug Offense and a Barking Dog

Monday, March 5:

1:16 a.m.: During a motor vehicle stop in the vicinity of the St. Mary's Condominiums, 28 Broad St., police arrested Ramon Perez, 27, of 435 Old Colony Ave., Apt. 380, South Boston, and charged him with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended/revoked license, failure to wear a seat belt and a wrong way violation. 

7:36 a.m.: Services were rendered when officers investigated a suspicious motor vehicle in the vicinity of a residence, 34 Birchwood Dr.

9:24 a.m.: An act of harassment was reported at Countryside Village, 450 Boston Post Rd. E.

9:34 a.m.: There was a motor vehicle crash with property damage near the intersection of Pleasant and West Main streets.

10:51 a.m.: An act of vandalism was reported to police at Zarape Restaurant, 33 Maple St. 

1:40 p.m.: There was a motor vehicle crash with personal injuries reported near the intersection of West Main and Winthrop streets. 

6:18 p.m.: An officer investigated an animal complaint at 201 Lincoln St. Scanner traffic indicated that a dog would not stop barking. 

7:37 p.m.: A drug offense was reported at 21 Mount Pleasant St., Apt. 23. No arrests were recorded. 

9:48 p.m.: Robert LaCerda Viera, 21, of 155 West Main St., Apt. 3, was arrested during a motor vehicle stop in the area of 300 Lakeside Ave. He was charged with with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended/revoked license, motor vehicle lights violations and two outstanding warrants.
