Police Log: Man Hit in Head with Cue Ball in Fight at Firefly's

Friday, Dec. 6

8:43 a.m.: Police received a report of vandalism at a law office building on Main Street.

8:52 a.m.: A disturbance was reported at a house on Newton Street.

8:53 a.m.: Vandalism was reported at Starbucks on Boston Post Road West.

9:13 a.m.: A theft was reported at Sheffield Court Condominiums on Boston Post Road East.

10:23 a.m.: A theft was reported at a home on Highland Street.

12:49 p.m.: A disturbance was reported at Assabet Valley Vocational High School.

1:23 p.m.: Suspicious activity was reported at Ridgewood Condominiums on Bolton Street.

2:41 p.m.: A disturbance was reported at a home on Sidney Street.

2:46 p.m.: Suspicious activity was reported at a home on Danjou Drive.

2:51 p.m.: A theft was reported at Liberty Hill Apartments on Main Street.

4:13 p.m.: A theft was reported at Juma Grocery Store on Mechanic Street.

4:54 p.m.: Harassment was reported on Stearns Road.

5:53 p.m.: A theft was reported at Laundry World on East Main Street.

6:39 p.m.: Vandalism was reported at a home on Madison Street.

7:54 p.m.: A past burglary was reported on Sawin Street.

8:54 p.m.: A disturbance was reported at an apartment on Paris Street.

Saturday, Dec. 7

12:09 a.m.: Police responded to Firefly's on East Main Street, for a reported disturbance. A police spokesman said an altercation involving several people resulted in one man getting hit by another with a cue ball in the left temple. Police will be seeking a court summons to charge the assailant with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

12:57 a.m.: A disturbance was reported at Stone Gate Apartments on Saint Ives Way.

1:36 a.m.: Following a motor vehicle stop at Planet Fitness, police arrested Clayverton DaSilva Machado, 38, of 259 Boston Post Road East, Apt. 12, Marlborough, on charges of OUI liquor, two counts of possession of a Class E drug, a marked lanes violation and a motor vehicle lights violation.

1:46 a.m.: Police responded to Papa John's on Hildreth Street for a reported theft. Police arrested Caitlin M. Magadieu, 25, of 57 Marlton Dr., Marlborough, on a charge of larceny over $250.

10:28 a.m.: A theft was reported at Honey Farms on Pleasant Street.

11:07 a.m.: Police received a soliciting complaint on Morrissey Road.
