Police Log: Man Charged in Threatening Maintenance Worker with Hammer
The following information is provided by the Marlborough Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Friday, Jan. 10
9:28 a.m.: Police responded to Bell Wheeler Hill Club House on Austin Way, for a reported assault. According to police, a maintenance man was attending to the trash compactor when a man walked up and attempted to put more trash into the device. The maintenance man told him he couldn't. The man then went to his vehicle and retrieved a hammer, according to police, and threatened to use it. Police arrested Celso Medeiros, 42, of 51 Christie Way, Apt. 52H, Marlborough, on charges of assault with a dangerous weapon and assault with a dangerous weapon, victim over age 60.
2:33 p.m.: A drug offense was reported at Assabet Valley Vocational High School.
3:53 p.m.: A theft was reported at Sunoco, on Maple Street.
3:56 p.m.: A theft was reported at Macy's at Solomon Pond Mall.
3:56 p.m.: A theft was reported at Digital Federal Credit Union on Donald Lynch Boulevard.
4:23 p.m.: A domestic disturbance was reported at Royal Crest Apartments.
5:29 p.m.: A disturbance was reported on Sidney Street.
6:03 p.m.: A domestic disturbance was reported on Bolton Street.
6:09 p.m.: Police responded to Sears at Solomon Pond Mall. Police arrested Stephanie A. Santucci, 50, on a warrant and a charge of shoplifting more than $100 by concealing merchandise.
7:29 p.m.: A domestic disturbance was reported on Broadmeadow Road.
9:02 p.m.: A burglary was reported at a two-family home on West Main Street.
9:52 p.m.: Police arrested Lee Adam Cordeiro, 27, of 10 Miles Ave., Boylston, on charges of larceny over $250, conspiracy and a warrant.
Saturday, Jan. 11
1:35 a.m.: Following a report of a crash on Hosmer Street near Royal Crest Apartments, police arrested Jeannine Marie Tobin, 30, of 108 Danforth St., Framingham, on charges of OUI liquor, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and leaving the scene of property damage.
8:38 a.m.: Vandalism was reported on Cook Lane.
9:23 a.m.: A fraud or a forgery was reported on Boston Post Road East.
11:15 a.m.: A domestic disturbance was reported on Francis Street.
5:27 p.m.: Shoplifting was reported at Macy's at the Solomon Pond Mall.
7:57 p.m.: A disturbance was reported at Linguine's on Boston Post Road West.
11:33 p.m.: Police responded to Shell Gas station on Lincoln Street for a report of a man who was intoxicated. Police attempted to place him into protective custody, but he became agitated and started yelling and swearing, according to a spokesman. As two officers were attempting to place him in custody, he shoved himself in to one officer and tried to head-butt the other. Police arrested Brian A. Meddows, 41, of 18 Lincoln Ct., Apt. 2, Marlborough, on two counts of assault and battery on a police officer, resisting arrest and disturbing the peace.
11:48 p.m.: A domestic disturbance was reported at the Heights at Marlborough Apartments.
