Police Log: Attempted Murder & School Assault

Friday, Nov. 2

8:59 a.m.: Breaking and entering into a motor vehicle was reported from Briarwood Lane.

10:22 a.m.: Police arrested Bryce Coutinho, 22, of 52 Meadowbrook Road on Meadowbrook Road on a warrant.

10:59 a.m.: A disturbance was reported from the Marlborough Public Library on West Main Street.

11:55 a.m.: An assault was reported from the Whitcomb School on Union Street.

1:36 p.m.: An assault was reported from Union Street.

2:05 p.m.: Larceny was reported from Locke Drive.

3:46 p.m.: A motor vehicle accident with injuries was reported from Maple Street.

4:36 p.m.: A hold-up alarm went off at TD Bank on East Main Street.

6:45 p.m.: A disturbance was reported from the Solomon Pond Mall on Donald J. Lynch Boulevard.

7:46 p.m.: Threats were reported from East Main Street.

8:53 p.m.: A disturbance was reported from Gibbons Street.

10:18 p.m.: A burglar alarm went off at Eastern Mountain Sports on Donald J. Lynch Boulevard.

11:00 p.m.: A burglar alarm went off at Whitcomb School on Union Street.

Saturday, Nov. 3

2:12 a.m.: Police arrested Betti Anne Fortin, 39, of 27 Houghton Court Apt. 3 in Hudson on Bolton Street on charges of operating under the influence of liquor, marked lanes violation and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

2:31 a.m.: A burglar alarm went off at the Kane Elementary School on Farm Road.

4:16 a.m.: Police arrested William Benitez, 26, of 13 Airline Street in Worcester on Northboro Road on charges of attempted murder, impeding an investigation through witness intimidation, assault and battery and two charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Benitez allegedly strangled the victim before attempting to suffocate them with a pillow and then an article of clothing, said Det. Scott DeCiero of the Community Services Bureau of the Marlborough Police Department. Benitez allegedly also headbutted the victim and took away the person's phone, said Det. DeCiero.

8:37 a.m.: A burglar alarm went off at an office building on Donald J. Lynch Boulevard.

9:09 a.m.: A domestic disturbance was reported from Briarwood Lane.

10:52 a.m.: A domestic disturbance was reported from Country Club Circle.

12:23 p.m.: Police arrested Nathaniel Baran, 26, of 10 Woodrow Street Hudson at Post Road Pantry Convinience on Boston Post Road East on charges of armed robbery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, speeding, failing to stop for police, leaving the scene of property damage, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, marked lanes violation, failing to keep right for an oncoming motor vehicle, resisting arrest, red light violation and failure to stop or yield.

12:56 p.m.: A break-in to a motor vehicle was reported on Jefferson Street.

1:41 p.m.: Shoplifting was reported from Hannaford Super Market on Boston Post Road West.

2:32 p.m.: Fraud or forgery was reported from Macy's on Donald J. Lynch Boulevard.

3:36 p.m.: A motor vehicle accident with injuries was reported from East Main Street.

4:29 p.m.: Suspicious activity was reported from Silver Street.

5:21 p.m.: A disturbance was reported from the Marlborough Hospital on Union Street.

9:55 p.m.: A disturbance was reported from Grant Court.

Sunday, Nov. 4

12:05 a.m.: Trespassing was reported from Stacey Road.

12:58 a.m.: A disturbance was reported from Joy Asia on Boston Post Road East.

6:56 a.m.: A full response fire alarm went out for a fire on Pleasant Street.

10:14 a.m.: Suspicious activity was reported from Elm Street.

12:05 p.m.: A suspicious vehicle was reported from Conrad Road.

2:18 p.m.: Threats were reported from Price Chopper on East Main Street.

2:24 p.m.: A past breaking and entering was reported from the West Ender on Boston Post Road West.

8:07 p.m.: Ambulance assistance was provided on Farm Road.

11:28 p.m.: A burglar alarm went off at Office Max on Boston Post Road West.

Monday, Nov. 5

12:44 a.m.: Police arrested Ronisie De Paula, 44, of 273 West Main Street Apt. 812 on Lincoln Street on a warrant anf charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and lights violation.
