Police Log: Assaults at Schools, Arrests for Drunk Driving

The following information was supplied by the Marlborough Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction. All arrests are reported.

Friday, Feb. 17:

1:42 a.m.: Suspicious activity was reported at All Star Auto Sales, 329 Maple St.

6:08 a.m.: After responding to a domestic disturbance at 114 Prospect St., police arrested Edwin Alexis Murillo-Rubi, 21, of the same address, and charged him with assault and battery and assault with a dangerous weapon.

10:19 a.m.: Threats were reported against an individual at the Whitcomb School, 25 Union St. 

11:28 a.m.: A drug offense was reported to Marlborough police at Marlborough High School, 431 Bolton St.

2:19 p.m.: An assault was reported at the Whitcomb School, 25 Union St. 

2:20 p.m.: Officers responded to an harassment call at Marlborough High School, 431 Bolton St., and arrested Jonathan Patrick Kizito Jr., 17, of 85 Silver Leaf Way, Apt. 22. He was charged with assault and battery on a person over 14 years old. 

6:10 p.m.: An act of larceny was reported at the Solomon Pond Mall, 601 Donald J. Lynch Blvd.


Saturday, Feb. 18:

2:05 a.m.: An act of harassment was reported at JCT Inc., 399 Berlin Rd. 

7:15 a.m.: Police served an outstanding warrant and arrested Guy Harrington, 55, of 147 Leoleis Dr.

10:27 a.m.: Threats against an individual were reported at 56 Arnold St. 

12:09 p.m.: Services were rendered when officers served a restraining order to an individual at 141 Dudley St. 

1:23 p.m.: During a motor vehicle stop near the Holiday Inn, 265 Lakeside Ave., police arrested Thomas L. McNeil, 29, of 496 Lincoln St., Apt. 15, and charged him with operating a motor vehicle on a suspended/revoked license. 

4:11 p.m.: Police recovered a stolen motor vehicle at the Pleasant Court Condominiums, 145 Pleasant St. 

5:12 p.m.: A criminal complaint was filed pertaining to threats made against an individual at 16 Wakefield Rd. 

7:57 p.m.: Mark S. Berry, 50, of 271C West Main St., Apt. C, was arrested during a domestic disturbance at the Lake Williams Condos, 271 West Main St., Apt. C, and charged with assault and battery. 

8:11 p.m.: After responding to a motor vehicle crash with injuries near the intersection of Granger Blvd. and South Bolton St., officers arrested Gerson Martinez-Zometa, 32, of 224 West Main St., Apt. 6, and charged him with OUI liquor, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and a red light violation.

11:18 p.m.: An assault was reported at McDonalds restaurant, 155 Boston Post Rd. W. 


Sunday, Feb. 19:

12:41 a.m.: A citation/warning was issued during a motor vehicle stop near the intersection of Broad and West Main streets. 

2:37 a.m.: Joao Paulo DaCruz, 27, of 319 East Main St., Apt. B8, was arrested at the same address during a disturbance call. He was charged with two counts of assault and battery. 

12:06 p.m.: There was a motor vehicle crash with injuries in the vicinity of the Shell gas station, 342 Boston Post Rd. E. 

2:36 p.m.: During a motor vehicle stop in the area of 22 Broad St., police arrested Juan Jose Pedroza, 51, of 210 Stevens St., Apt. 1, and charged him with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. 

3:42 p.m.: An assault was reported at the New England Sports Center, 121 Donald J. Lynch Blvd. 


Monday, Feb. 20:

1:02 a.m.: Eliza J. Pereira, 43, of 10 Feltonville Rd., Hudson, was arrested during a motor vehicle stop in the area of 475 Bolton St. She was charged with OUI liquor and marked lanes violations. 

10:39 a.m.: Police services were rendered when a hold-up alarm sounded at the Longhorn Steak House, 191 Boston Post Rd. W.

12:28 p.m.: An act of vandalism was reported near the intersection of Hosmer Street and Royal Crest Drive. 

1:41 p.m.: Suspicious activity was investigated at the Jaworek Elementary School, 444 Hosmer St. 

10:23 p.m.: Stephen Michael Tebo, 54, of 16 Versailles St., Apt. 1, was arrested on an outstanding warrant during a disturbance at the same address. 

11:25 p.m.: During a motor vehicle stop in the vicinity of the REMAX Signature Properties, 28 South Bolton St., David Elias Castillo-Medrano, 30, of 131 South St., Apt. 2, was arrested for OUI liquor, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and marked lanes violations.
