Police Log: Accident Leads to Arrest on Lakeside

The following information was supplied by the Marlborough Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction. All arrests are reported.

Tuesday, May 15 

4:05 a.m.: On Maplewood Ave., police arrested Cory M. Mathis, 24, of 10 Lacouture Ct., Apt. 1, Marlborough, on charges of breaking and entering into a vehicle or boat in the nighttime to commit a felony. 

8:04 a.m.: Police took a report of an assault in the vicinity of Assabet Valley Vocational HIgh School.

8:47 a.m.: A resident of Maplewood Ave. reported a vehicle had been broken into sometime the previous night. 

11:33 a.m.: Police took a report of threats on Boston Post Road.

12:13 p.m.: A resident on Vega Rd. reported a larceny to police. 

12:50 p.m.: Vandalism was reported to a vacant office building on Forest St. that previously housed Hewlett-Packard. 

1:31 p.m.: An officer registered a sex offender at the police department. 

4:03 p.m: An accident with property damage only was reported on Maple St. at Walker St. 

4:59 p.m.: A resident of Reservoir St. reported threats to police. 

5:46 p.m.: A motor vehicle accident damage with property damage but no injuries was reported on Lakeside Ave. After an investigation police arrested Kelley E. Drew, 23, of 17 Dunnell Rd., Greenfield, on charges of leaving the scene of an accident with property damage, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and operating under the influence of liquor. 

6:48 p.m.: Police took a report of a past larceny from a resident of Newton St. 

9:41 p.m.: A motor vehicle accident with property damage only was reported at 179 West Main St.
