VIDEO: Marlborough PD, Fire Respond to Fully Engulfed Vehicle Fire [VIDEO]

Much of the city's public safety resources were dealing with a car fire on Parmenter Street late Saturday afternoon.

The and departments responded to a fully engulfed vehicle fire in the woods off Parmenter Street late Saturday afternoon. 

Fire personnel on the scene said that no one was hurt in the blaze, which reportedly started after the vehicle ran off the road. 

According to Dep. Fire Chief Ron Ayotte, who spoke from fire headquarters, the driver of the vehicle reportedly fled and was not available when emergency personnel arrived.

An official report of the fire was not available at the time of this post, and police officials were unable to comment as they were still asssessing the scene.
