May 12: Marlborough Police Kept Busy by Multiple Arrests

Here is a sampling of the calls the Marlborough Police Department responded to Thursday, May 12, 2011. All arrests are reported.

5:01 a.m.: Walter Oswaldo Pineda-Paredes, 34, of 14 Greenview, Framingham, is arrested during a motor vehicle stop in the area of 340 Maple St., and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and speeding in violation of a special regulation.

9:11 a.m.: During a motor vehicle stop Charles R. Cook, 37, of 9231 Avalon Way, Shrewsbury, is arrested and charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license.

10:57 a.m.: Police investigate the report of a domestic disturbance at 32 Clarke Dr.

2:13 p.m.: An act of larceny is reported at JC Penny, 573 Donald J. Lynch Blvd.

3:24 p.m.: Fraud/forgery is reported at 16 Kings Grant Rd.

4:28 p.m.: Officers serve a restraining order at Marlborough Hospital, 157 Union St. 

4:44 p.m.: While serving a warrant at Design Pak Lofts, 175 Maple St. Apt. 119, police arrest Richard R. Carter, 47, of the same address, is arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute a Class D drug. 

7:36 p.m.: Mark J. Giardina, 26, of 15 Maplewood Ave., while officers assist with an ambulance call to the same address. He is charged with possession of a Class A drug and being present where heroin is kept.
