State Police responding to a report of an erratic driver on Interstate 93 south and engaged in pursuit before ultimately stopping the vehicle at Exit 1 and charging the driver with aggravated driving while intoxicated.

Police said Margaret E. Flynn, 45, of Marlborough, Mass., was also charged with disobeying an officer and resisting arrest.

The chase began at about 8 p.m. June 8 near Exit 5 in Londonderry. A State Trooper identified the vehicle in question, a 2007 Honda, and attempted to pull it over, but the driver drove into the Windham scale facility and accelerated back onto I-93 south, police said.

The trooper pursued the vehicle into Salem and, joined by two additional troopers and Salem police officers, stopped the driver at Exit 1.

Police said the driver refused to get out of the vehicle and officers had to remove her, before taking her into custody after a brief struggle. Flynn was scheduled to be arraigned in Salem District Court on June 9.
