Marlborough Police Make Assault, Drug Arrests

Friday, Dec. 2:

9:06 a.m.: There is a motor vehicle accident with injuries near the intersection of West Main and Orchard streets. 

9:35 a.m.: A report of fraud/forgery is given to police at 3 Miles Standish Dr.

11:01 a.m.: An act of vandalism is investigated at the Maple Crest Apartments, 64 Maple St.

2:40 p.m.: Lindsay F. Cherney, 22, of 94 Crystal Brook Way, Apt. A, is arrested when police serve an outstanding warrant at the same address.

7:37 p.m.: A citation/warning is issued during a motor vehicle stop in the vicinity of the Curtis Square Condominiums, 45 Curtis Ave., Apt. C. 

9:39 p.m.: An assault is reported to police at the Stevens Playground, 98 Arnold St. Ext. 


Saturday, Dec. 3:

12:22 a.m.: Services are rendered in when officers assist an ambulance call at 16 Versailles St. 

4:39 a.m.: MPD investigates a suspicious motor vehicle in the area of 280 Elm St., Apt. 27.

9:53 a.m.: There is a motor vehicle accident with property damage in the area of 99 West Main St.,

3:07 p.m.: Threats are reportedly made against an individual at the Meadows at Marlborough, 133 Broadmeadow Rd. 

4:16 p.m.: Police respond to a report of shoplifting at the Solomon Pond Mall, 601 Donald J. Lynch Blvd., and arrest Elisabeth Blancha, 17, of 245 Burroughs Rd., Boxborough, on two charges of larceny over $250 and three counts of shoplifting by concealing merchandise. 

8:24 p.m.: A robbery is reported at the , 601 Donald J. Lynch Blvd.

10:24 p.m.: Joel Escobar, 39, of 144 Dudley St., Apt. 406, Roxbury, is arrested at the Royal Crest Apartments, 35 Royal Crest Dr., Apt. 5, and charged with assault and battery and impeding an investigation through witness intimidation. 


Sunday, Dec. 4: 

12:50 a.m.: During a motor vehicle stop in the vicinity of , 525 Boston Post Rd. E., police arrest Randall J. Blanch, 46, of 72 Pine St., Natick, and he is charged with a third offense OUI, marked lanes violations and speeding in violation of a special regulation. 

4:01 a.m.: Nelson Y. Campos, 28, of 207 South Quinsigamond Ave., Apt. 1, Shrewsbury, and Elmer C. Munguia, 33, of 8 Mott St., Apt. 3, Worcester, are arrested during a motor vehicle stop near the intersection of Pleasant and Russell streets. Campos is charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and marked lanes violations. Munguia is arrested on possession of a Class B drug. 

1:32 p.m.: An act of harassment is reported at 27 Bowstring Way.

5:48 p.m.: Crystal L. Oliveira, 20, of 399 Berlin Rd., is arrested during a motor vehicle stop near the intersection of West Hill Road and Matheson Drive for driving with suspended license (subsequent offense).

6:01 p.m.: Police respond to a report of a purse snatching and assault at , 230 East Main St., and arrest Melissa A. Martin, 29, of 5 Gay St., Apt. 1, on charges of larceny from a person, impeding an investigation through witness intimidation, carrying a dangerous weapon, assault and battery on a person older than 60 with an injury and on an outstanding warrant related to evading bus fare. Another arrest related to this incident is that of Patrick M. Ryan, 40, of 12 Coburn, Framingham, who is suspected of aiding Martin. He is charged with larceny from a person, impeding an investigation through witness intimidation and assault and battery on a person older than 60 with an injury. See the .
