Douglas A. Keith, 43, of 59 Rice St., faced serious charges in Marlborough District Court Monday after being arrested during a drug raid at the same address. The Marlborough Police Department, an area drug task force and U.S. Postal Service inspectors served a search warrant Friday, Feb. 10. According to court records, a postal inspection agent dressed as a U.S.P.S. carrier approached the door of the residence and upon entry arrested Keith. Law enforcement officers then found a box that had previously been delivered by the U.S.P.S. that contained more than 100 oxycodone pills. He was charged with an outstanding warrant, possession to distribute a Class B drug, drug violations near a park/school (as his home is within 1000 feet of the Immaculate Conception School) and trafficking in heroin/morphine/opium 14-28 grams. On Monday, Feb. 13, Keith was arraigned and released on $500 bail. He will return to court for a pre-trial hearing Thursday, March 15.
