Marlborough Fire Fighters Battle Early Morning Trailer Fire

Marlborough fire fighters responded to their fifth structure fire in three weeks early Monday morning.

Marlborough fire fighters knocked down their fifth structure fire in three weeks as they battled a trailer fire early Monday morning.

A 911 call went out at 3:18 a.m., spurring fire fighters from engines 1, 2, 3 tower 1 and rescue 1 to respond to 89 Wagon Hill Road in the Gulbankian
Trailer Park. Off duty personnel were called up to staff the Department’s reserve engines.

When the crew of engine 3 arrived, they found the resident of the home outside, with heavy smoke coming from the front door. The windows in the fire area were broken by the crew from tower 1, venting the fire, and it was quickly extinguished by the crew from engine 3.
