March 23: Juvenile Arrested for Assault on Senior

Here is a sampling of the calls the Marlborough Police Department responded to Tuesday, March 23, 2011. All arrests are reported.

6:39 a.m.: Police respond to a burglar alarm at 103 Main St. at which time they check and secure the building. 

8:15 a.m.: There is a report of harassment at 16 Versailles St. See for arrests made at this address. 

11:16 a.m.: MPD responds to a disturbance at the Hildreth School, 85 Sawin St.

12:00 p.m.: After responding to a report of suspicious activity at Best Buy, 769 Donald J.Lynch Blvd., officers arrest Michael David Benjamin, 24, of 94 Marshall Rd., Fitchburg, on charges of shoplifting $100+ by concealing merchandise, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, possession of a class E drug, and larceny under $250.

1:13 a.m.: A report of fraud/forgery is made at the same location, Best Buy, 769 Donald J. Lynch Blvd.

2:32 p.m.: A summons is serve to a resident of 224 West Main St. Apt. 3. 

5:07 p.m.: Police take a report of threats made at the New England Sports Center, 121 Donald J. Lynch Blvd. 

5:23 p.m.: Roberto Domingo Carrero, 29, of 81 Florence St. Apt. 2, is arrested in a motor vehicle stop in the area of Florence and Garfield streets on charges of driving with a suspended/revoked license. 

6:22 p.m.: A 16-year-old juvenile is arrested in a domestic disturbance at 181 Boston Post Rd. E. Apt. Lot 30, on charges of assault and battery on a person of 60-years or older/disabled person with an injury. 

9:37 p.m.: A warning/citation is issued in a motor vehicle stop in the vicinity of Elm and Broad streets.
