Man Charged with Assaulting Two-Year-Old

A Marlborough man has been charged with assaulting a two-year-old and her mother.

A Marlborough man is accused of assaulting a two-year-old and repeatedly assaulting the child's mother.
Police have charged Aroldo Deleon, 24, of 193 West Main Street Apt. 2 with assault and battery for allegedly pouring beer on the face of a two-year-old and the child's mother. He then, according to court documents, proceeded to attack the mother.
"He then did strike her in the face with a closed fist, he did grab her by the hair and continually slam her head into the floor," wrote Police Officer Heather Manning in her report.
Deleon allegedly dragged the victim back into the building when she attempted to leave and have someone call the police, continuing to slam her head into the floor. She eventually left the building and neighbors called the police, according to the report.
Deleon was charges with assault and battery, a charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and impeding an investigation by intimidating a witness. He was released on $300 bail Monday.
