Man Arrested for Third OUI and Having Open Container

A Hudson man was arrested Wednesday morning with a reported half full can of beer in his car.

A Hudson man reportedly smelled of alcohol and was swaying after he was pulled over by Marlborough Police early Wednesday morning.

"Mr. Bradlee told me he had two beers and a shot of tequila within the last hour and a half. Mr. Bradlee had a flushed appearance and (red) bloodshot eyes," wrote Marlborough Police Officer Rafael Faria in his report.

Faria had pulled over Timothy M. Bradlee, 43, of 10 Cayuga Dr. in Hudson shortly after 2 a.m. after he observed Bradlee's vehicle leave the Half Way Bar and Restaurant and proceed down the road above the speed limit. Before he pulled Bradlee over, Faria reportedly saw the vehicle cross into the other lane twice.

"I observed all signs of an intoxicated person including the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emenating from his breath and vehicle," said Faria of Bradlee who reportedly failed field sobriety tests and refused a breathalyzer.

Upon searching the vehicle police reportedly found a half full Coors Light that was still cold to the touch and two bottles of wine that had previously been open and were corked. All were within reach of Bradlee, according to court documents.
