Local Man Charged with DUI After Parking on Lawn of AA Founder's Birth Home
A Marlborough man was charged with a DUI in Vermont after parking his car on the lawn of the birth home of a cofounder of Alcoholic's Anonymous.
Vermont State Police told The Banner that police were called to the house on Christmas Eve at 7:25 p.m. for the parked car. The Wilson House is the Birthplace of Bill W., the co-founder of Alcoholics Anonymous.
State Police told the paper that Blood was a guest at the building and that no damage was done to the property. He is due to appear in court in Vermont on Jan. 14, according to the Banner.

The Wilson House has fourteen guest rooms and a small apartment available for overnight guests, according to the house's website. There are several Alcoholic Anonymous meetings at the house every week, according to the website.
