Jan. 23-31: Fire Department Responds to Chimney Fire, CO Leaks

Here is a complete listing of calls the Marlborough Fire Department responded to.

The following are the responses from January 23rd  to  January 31st , 2011.

  • Fire/CO responses: 58

  • Public service/Special responses: 17

  • Incident #2011-358: Engine 2, Ladder 2, Rescue 1 and Car 2 responded to a chimney fire at 461 Elm Street.
  • Incident #2011-393: Engine 2, car 2 and the City’s Code Enforcement officer responded to a carbon monoxide problem at 233 Lincoln Street caused by a blocked heater vent and improperly operating was
  • Incident #2011- 414: Engine 3 responded to a car fire, out on arrival.
  • Incident #2011-429: Engine 1, Engine 3, Rescue 1, Ladder 2 and Car 2 were dispatched to a fire alarm activation at 133 East Main Street.  A pipe to the fire sprinkler system had ruptured, causing the alarm.
  • Incident #2011-545: A blocked heater vent caused a carbon monoxide incident at the Lakeside Medical Center, 640 Bolton Street.
