Framingham Woman Decides Not To Testify Against Former Marlborough State Rep.

A Framingham District Court Judge dismissed an assault case against a former Marlborough City councilor and state legislator, after a Framingham Woman opted not to testify.

Framingham District Court Judge Douglas W. Stoddart dismissed an assault case against a former Marlborough City councilor and state legislator, reported the Worcester Telegram & Gazette.

The Worcester Daily newspaper reported the victim did not wish to testify.

Steven L. Levy, 48, of 61 O'Grady Road in Marlborough was arrested on May 11, 2013 at 5:15 a.m. and charges of domestic assault and battery at the Framingham Police Station.

According to the police report, a Framingham woman, 43, went to the police station about 2 a.m. and reported she was assaulted by her "lover/boyfriend" in the parking lot of the Chicken Bone.

The incident happened in the parking lot of the Chicken Bone in Framingham, according to police. Levy came to the police station to be booked at the request of Framingham police.

Levy lost his bid for re-election to Danielle Gregoire in 2012.
