Former State Rep. Arrested, Catholic Bishop Loses License and a Fire

These are the highlights of crime and emergency news in the city in the past week.

Former State Rep. Steven Levy made news this week after he was arrested for allegedly assaulting a girlfriend in Framingham. He allegedly pushed a woman to the ground after she got upset because he was kissing another woman. His wife has said he will not comment on the incident.

Worcester Roman Catholic Bishop Robert J. McManus has lost his license and will need to pay fines and volunteer following an arrest on charges of drunk driving in Rhode Island.

In Marlborough, an early morning fire tore up the outside of a home. WMCT TV in Marlborough. was there to capture firefighters putting out the flames.
