Fire Department Asks for Help in Arson Investigation

A Forest Street fire in early december remains unsolved, and the Marlborough Fire Department and State Fire Marshal's office are looking for answers.

The released information this morning regarding a Forest Street fire in early December, and is asking for the public's help solving it. 

"The Marlborough Fire Department and the State Fire Marshal’s office are asking the public for information regarding a structure fire that happened on the morning of Dec. 3, 2010 at 1 a.m. at 343 Forest St.," said Dep. Chief Ron Ayotte in the release.

The fire is believed to be arson, according to the release, which says the Arson Watch reward program will pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the persons involved in this incident.

If anyone has information regarding this fire, they are asked to call the Marlborough Fire Department Fire Investigation unit at 508-624-6984 ext. 13 or the State Fire Marshal’s hotline at 1-800-682-9229.
