Fire Alarms Triggered by Power Outage in West Marlborough
Businesses have been affected.
The Marlborough Fire Department responded to a number of fire alarms on the western side of the city following a power outage Tuesday morning.
The power outage caused a break in power, what the system looks for and triggers a fire alarm according to fire officials. This has affected a number of businesses including Best Western and Chipotle. These are businesses that are often affected when there is a power outage, said officials.
The fire department was responding to multiple alarms shortly before 10 a.m. Details on the cause of the outage will be reported as they become available.
