Feb. 18-21: Holiday Weekend Sees Plenty of Arrests Including Guns, Drugs, Assault

Here is a sampling of the calls the Marlborough Police Department responded to between Friday, Feb. 18 - Monday, Feb. 21, 2011.

Friday:

10:22 a.m.: Police respond to the report of harassment at 66 Cotting Ave. Apt. 1.

10:31 a.m.: A missing person is reported at the Bigelow School, 57 Orchard St.

10:51 a.m.: Shaine T. Robinson, 22, of 1 Royal Crest Dr. Apt. 1, is arrested while officers serve an outstanding warrant at his address. 

11:42 a.m.: During the course of an ambulance assist, Matthew Paul Ladden, 30, of 16 Dirado Dr., is arrested on charges of assault and battery, several counts of possession of a firearm/ammunition without a license, defacing a firearm serial number, three counts of possessing a Class C substance, and a civil charge of possessing marijuana.

12:08 p.m.: While serving a warrant at the Modern Guest House, 8 Cotting Ave, Apt. 33, police arrest Daniel Steven LaCourse, 49, of the same address. 

2:21 p.m.: Robert L. Hanson Jr, 42, of 12 Davis St. Apt. 1, is arrested on charges of assault and battery after police officers respond to a domestic disturbance. 

3:10 p.m.: Police take a report of assault at the Marlborough Housing Authority, 20 Front St.

9:18 p.m.: A 13-year-old juvenile is arrested at 23 Kirby St. Apt. St. after police respond to a disturbance. 

9:43 p.m.: After responding to a motor vehicle accident in the area of 888 Pleasant St., MPD arrests Chad Matthew LaRiviere, 20, of 116 Frye St., on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol (OUI Liquor).

10:46 p.m.: Nicholas A. Ludovici, 27, of 155 Pleasant St., Upton, is arrested on charges of assault and battery, as well as vandalizing property. 

11:21 p.m.: Sex offenses were reported to police by Marlborough Hospital, 157 Union St. 

 

Saturday:

4:16 a.m.: Police make arrests at Speakers Nightclub, 19 Weed St., after a suspicious motor vehicle is reported. 

9:38 a.m.: Officers investigate a domestic disturbance at 102 Ferrecchia Dr. 

1:22 p.m.: Zachary M. Waters, 27, of 50 Franklin St. Apt. 10M, Worcester, and Melanie R. Leavitt, 19, of the same address, are both arrested on charges of larceny (shoplifting) over $250 and conspiracy at the Solomon Pond Mall, 601 Donald J. Lynch Blvd.

4:07 p.m.: Police serve a warrant to the Embassy Suites, 123 Boston Post Rd. W., and subsequently arrest Axel Manuel Moran, 27, of 13 Baker Way Apt. 2, Westborough, on an outstanding warrant. 

8:29 p.m.: No police action is required in a report of threats made at 20 Settlers Ln.

9:24 p.m.: Services are rendered when Advocates, at 509 Lincoln St. Apt. 16, reports harassment. 

11:32 p.m.: John E. McIntyre, 26, of 43 Orchard St., is arrested during the course of a motor vehicle stop for failure to stop/yield, and driving without a valid license.

 

Sunday:

1:04 a.m.: A report of assault is made to police at the Best Western Royal Plaza Hotel, 181 Boston Post Rd. W., and Matthew D. Rossi, 49, of 101 Maplewood Ave., is arrested on chages of assault and battery. 

10:35 a.m.: Officers serve a restraining order at 1o1 Maplewood Ave. (See previous entry)

3:29 p.m.: Police take a report of a 209A violation (proximity) at a six family residence, 84 Broad St. Apt. 6.

10:42 p.m.: Fraud/forgery is reported at the Shell Gas Station, 342 Boston Post Rd. E. 

 

Monday:

7:30 a.m.: There is an animal complaint at 74 Essex St. 

9:54 a.m.: Officers aid a disabled vehicle at Bolton and Lincoln streets.

2:43 p.m.: There is a motor vehicle accident at the New England Sports Center, 121 Donald J. Lynch Blvd.

6:55 p.m.: A motor vehicle accident with injuries is reported at 290 connector and 215 Fitchburg St. 

9:33 p.m.: A report of assault is received at Hewlett Packard, 2 Results Way. 

11:07 p.m.: Another 209A violation is reported at the same address as the Sunday call, 84 Broad St. Apt. 6.
