Drug Deal Goes Bad in Marlborough

Marlborough Police arrested four individuals Friday afternoon after finding a drug deal gone bad on West St.

After getting a report of a disturbance at a West St. residence Friday afternoon, the arrived to find a marijuana drug deal gone awry. 

"This was a drug deal gone bad," said Det. Martha Shea. "There was an altercation at some point during the deal that led to the disturbance. These individuals did know each other, and it was not random."

Though the exact circumstances surrounding what went wrong were not available, at some point in this altercation that took place at 4:17 p.m. at 28 West Street, just yards from the , it is known that three Framingham men were there trying to purchase marijuana from a Marlborough resident.

At some point, an argument began and two of the three buyers armed themselves. 

Zachary P. Hunt, 19, of 63 Joseph Rd., Framingham, was armed with a knife when he entered the residence. Errol, D. Moses Jr., 19, of 3 Rosslaire Rd., Framingham, armed himself inside the residence with a pair of needle-nose pliers; and Cleodson Darocha, 17, of 199 Cochituate Rd., Framingham, was charged with conspiracy for knowing about the weapons.

Thomas Russell Truscott Jr., 17, of 28 West St., was charged with distribution, manufacturing, dispersion, and cultivation of a Class D drug (marijuana), as well as drug violations near a school/park, and conspiracy to violate drug laws. 

Shea said the suspects all tried to run away after police arrived, but all were apprehended on-site. 

Each of the Framingham men were charged with home invasion, conspiracy to violate drug laws, and carrying a dangerous weapon. 

All suspects were scheduled to appear in Monday morning. This story will be updated as we receive more information.
