Cocaine Seized in Marlborough Search

Police seized crack cocaine and arrested two people during a search of a Marlborough apartment Wednesday.

Two Marlborough men were arrested after 24 packages of crack cocaine were seized from their apartment.
Police carried out a search warrant at 56 Harrison Pl. Apt. 1L at 11:40 a.m. on Wednesday after detaining Julio C. Alicea-Romero, 25, outside along with a woman. When they went inside the apartment, in which Alicea-Romero lives, Cesar Alicea-Romero, 24, who also lives in the apartment told police there was cocaine in one of the bedrooms, according to court documents. 
During a search of the apartment, police found a locked box with $200 in cash and 24 individually packaged bags containing a substance police identified as crack cocaine, according to  a police report. Also found in the apartment was $401 in a fanny pack.
Both Julio and Cesar Alicea-Romero were arrested on charges of possession of cocaine to distribute, class b drug possession, and conspiracy to violate drug law.
