Please update us on this... the parents/guardians, whomever was the responsible person in this child's life should be dealt with and I would love to know what the resolve is. So sad that this little girl was not properly looked after.

Have to agree with Max, child should have been in a car seat, properly secured in the vehicle. Whoever is driving is responsible for the safety of everyone in the vehicle, especially small kids. Common sense here! Was texting involved?

Certainly indicative of the poor driving habits of folks around here...no wonder MA has such high insurance rates. Driving over double yellow lines and running stop signs is unbelievably common. I was almost side swiped by an idiot trying to make a left turn into CVS on Pleasant street, and figured it was OK to drive in the oncoming left lane to do so. Same with passing mail trucks or parked cars...these arrogant drivers just figure it's ok to drive fully in oncoming lanes to go around the car instead of stopping and letting oncoming traffice pass....those of us that are driving in the correct lane had just better look out! Incredible.
